Thank you for reading through the following notes. These policies and procedures allow Main Dish Kitchen® to continue to offer you quality, nutritious dishes at a reasonable price!

NOTES ON ORDERING:
  • If you choose to pick up your order, the dish will be prepared by Main Dish Kitchen staff as prescribed by the recipe. If you require modifications to the recipe, you must note these when placing your order on-line or contact your Main Dish Kitchen location. Additional charges may apply.
  • If you prepare your own dishes at a session, you may prepare the dish to your liking, using additional seasonings from our spice shelf.
  • Main Dish Kitchen does not have a pick-up fee. The cost of the dish is the same if our staff prepares your dishes for you.
  • If you would like to bring a friend or family member to help prepare your dishes or split your order, please enter their name and email address when you place your order. If the website does not allow you to enter a friend, the session is full. Please contact Main Dish Kitchen at least two days prior to your session to confirm that there is available space at the session.
  • Children are welcome, but please be respectful of others in the session and call in advance to make sure it is appropriate for young children to join you.
  • We recommend you bring a cooler or tote to transport food home. Large laundry baskets, coolers or Rubbermaid® tubs work well.
  • Tasty snacks and beverages are complimentary. If you wish to bring additional snacks and beverages or have a special event and would like customized appetizers or a full meal served, please contact Main Dish Kitchen in advance for arrangements.

CUSTOMER CANCELLATION POLICY:

We understand that certain situations come up which may require a customer to cancel or reschedule a reservation. Because we place the food orders prior to the session, we ask for a seven-day notification and are happy to reschedule and apply a credit towards a future session. If a customer cancels within seven days of the scheduled session, he/she may either send someone in their place or ask Main Dish Kitchen’s staff to prepare the order for pick-up, (these may be picked up after Noon the following day). If the customer does not make these arrangements, he/she is charged in full.

GROUP COORDINATOR CANCELLATION POLICY:

Group Coordinators who wish to reschedule or cancel an entire private session are required to call at least three weeks in advance to allow time for another group to reserve the session. Group Coordinators who wish to cancel their own reservation at a private session are required to call at least seven days in advance. The customers remain in the session and it then becomes an "Open Session".

SCHEDULING TERMS & CONDITIONS:
  • I will follow all rules of conduct related to the use of Main Dish Kitchen’s facilities during my session.
  • I will not attend my Main Dish Kitchen session if I have, or have been exposed to any communicable diseases including cold, flu, etc. I will call to make alternative arrangements.
  • I will promptly freeze my Main Dishes following the conclusion of my session.
  • I will follow the cooking instructions specified on all dishes. I realize that cooking times vary depending on the oven and the degree to which the dish is thawed. If a dish is not completely thawed, I will increase cooking time significantly.
  • I will keep all dinners below 40° F while in storage and I will heat all dinners containing meat to an internal temperature above 165° F before they are consumed.
  • I assume full responsibility for the proper transportation and storage of all my food.
  • I agree to release Main Dish Kitchen® from all claims, damages and causes of action or liabilities which may arise as a result of my preparation, storage, and consumption of Main Dishes, except if solely due to the gross negligence of Main Dish Kitchen®.
